On May 16, 2025, the St. Louis area was hit by a large, destructive tornado. A number of schools were significantly damaged by the storm, impacting their ability to finish the year and even open in the Fall. GtwLUG earmarked part of our charity funds this year to supporting one of the schools affected, and on Wednesday, October 29th two of our club members were able to drop off our donation of 12 LEGO Education BricQ Motion Prime kits to Dr. Christopher Crumble, the principal of Yeatman-Liddell College Preparatory Middle School, which is currently operating out of another school building while the school is being rebuilt. Thanks to club members Zac and Derrek for delivering the donation.
